定语从句
原来定语从句有这么多门道，当时学的时候怎么没发现呢。
what is 定语从句?
复合句 = 主句 + 定语从句
从句的作用是对students做进一步的说明。
定语从句在句子中作定语，修饰名词或代词的从句。这种从句由关系代词或关系副词引导，并作句子成分。
定语从句的位置：通常是在先行词（在主句中）后。
定语从句在复合句中的结构：

主语 + 定语从句 + 谓语 + 其他成分
The boy ( who is listening to music ) is my brother.（who可用that替代）

主语（最后有名词/代词）+ 定语从句
This is the book which you are looking for.（which可用that替代）

区分关系代词和关系副词
句子缺成分，用关系代词；不缺成分，用关系副词

找出定语从句中是否主语和宾语都齐全。如齐全用关系副词。用什么关系词看先行词。
I’ ll never forget the day when/ on which I joined the league.（时间状语）
This is the house where/ in which I lived two years ago.（地点状语）

如定语从句中缺宾语，确定定语从句的谓语动词是不是及物动词，如是用关系代词，如不是，用关系副词。
Yesterday we went to visit he house where/ in which ( the great winter used to live ).（不及物动词）
The house which/ that ( the built in 1987 ) stayed up in the earthquake.（及物动词）

如定语从句中谓语结构是被动结构且有主语，则用关系副词。
Kunming is a beautiful place where ( flower are seen all the year round ).
October 1st is the day when ( new China was founded ).
The window ( Which/ that was opend this morning ) has been broken.（从句没有主语，不用关系副词）
